Longer lasting tungsten electrodes

The Multi Strike™ Tungsten Welding Electrodes from Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Ltd were originally introduced to provide the marketplace with non-radioactive and non-carcinogenic tungstens for improved health and safety and increased life. They have now undergone a new development. By adding more rare-earth non-radioactive oxides to the recipe, Multi Strike™
electrodes now offer even greater life and arc stability. Multi Strike™ Tungsten Electrodes contain a mix of non-radioactive rare earth elements which dramatically lower the working temperature of the tungsten, making it much longer lasting than all other tungsten electrodes used for TIG and Plasma welding. Other tungsten electrodes work at higher temperatures so the oxide additions burn out or evaporate much faster than with Multi Strike™, so much so that it gives at least 10 times the arc striking life of other tungsten electrodes.
