New force in customised fabrications

Newly formed Axium Process is starting life with over 100 man years of engineering experience in the supply and manufacture of customised stainless-steel components and fabrication. Axium Process provides a comprehensive hygienic engineering service in response to the process industries’ growing needs for quality and traceability. Emphasis is placed on specialised clean engineering for the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, cosmetic and food processing industries. Welding is to specific industry standards and customers’ required protocols, including orbital and mechanised welding. Surface finishes from descaled up to 0.10um Ra, bead blasting and electropolished finishes are offered. Products are manufactured from 304, 316 or 316L stainless steel; nickel alloy options including Monel and Hastelloy are available as specials. Full certification is available to ensure materials traceability, as is weld logging if required. Comprehensive ranges of hygienic stainless steel tube and fittings are stocked, including Clamp, RJT, IDF, DIN and plain-ended fittings.
Sizes available range from 4 to 300mm diameter, depending on the type, and are dimensionally in accordance with the appropriate industry standards such as BS4825 and DIN11851. Other products available for process pipework include sprayballs, filters, manways, valves, flexible hoses and sight glasses, which are rapidly customised as required.
The company has in depth capabilities to build hygienic process and skid mounted plant to customers’ specifications.
