“Quick Turn” for Osprey

Osprey Metals (a wholly owned subsidiary of Sweden’s Sandvik AB), suppliers of controlled expansion Al-Si and Si-Al alloys (Osprey CE Alloys) for use in the electronics industry, has established a “Quick Turnâ€? prototyping service for machined components. Typical machined parts include enclosures, carrier plates and other critical items used in the manufacture of RF, microwave, opto-electronic and power devices and other microelectronic products. Depending on quantity and configuration, CE alloy machined parts can be delivered in as little as two weeks from receipt of drawings, whereas simple blocks and plates can be shipped from stock within 2–3 days.
