Axxair has announced the CC + SASL-150, the world’s first all-in-one orbital cutting and welding machine. The CC range is made up of nine machines suitable for cutting from 5 to 782mm. In operation, the powered saw blade first penetrates the thickness of the tube and then turns around the tube to cut it. This concept guarantees a perpendicular cut of 0.25mm max and a limited burr – in only a few seconds. TIG orbital welding or manual TIG can be carried out directly after the cut. The SASL-150 power supply, combined with the CC range, offers a perfect response to all prefab tube processing applications. This system is perfectly adapted for on-site jobs as well as in the shop floor for pharmaceutical, food processing, biotechnology and aerospace applications. Axxair’s welding equipment is considered particularly suitable for stainless steel but also handles Titanium, Hastelloy and Inconel.
