FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology Inc. (FUTEK) has added the PMP943 Miniature pressure sensor to their USB Sensor solution line. The new module with USB output eliminates the need for an analog amplifier, power supply, and display equipment. The USB integration also includes FUTEK’s USB Software which allows users to monitor the output of the Sensor in real time. The Sensor is fit for several industrial applications and can withstand the harshest environments. The small size and lightweight, titanium design makes it suitable for tough vibration and shock environments, resistant to extreme temperatures, and suitable for corrosive fluid environments. This mini pressure sensor is recommended for applications involving rough handling or where a completely hermetically sealed transducer is required. All subsea applications such as Remotely operated underwater vehicles, and Subsea Christmas trees as well as Offshore testing, Fossil fuel exploration and Cargo level gauging are suitable for the PMP943.
