Taiyuan Stainless Steel is likely to set up Tianjin Taiyuan Steel Welded Steel Pipe Co. with Tianjin Steel Pipe Co. The total registration capital of a new start up company is CNY 0.6 billion with taking 50% stocks from each company. The new company is mainly engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, research & development and export and import of the steel pipe products. Tianjin Taiyuan Welded Steel Pipe Co. is predicted to achieve the production capacity of 1.1 million tonnes per year including 4.5 million tonnes per year and 6.5 million tonnes per year in the first and second stage respectively.
