On 14 July 2008, titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma signed a deal to supply up to USD 4 billion in titanium products to Airbus and its parent, EADS, through 2020. The deal covers the supply of round and flat rolled titanium products and stampings for contemporary Airbus models. Products will be supplied to other divisions of EADS and the three firms will consider further cooperation with a view to vertically integrating production from raw materials through to finished products.
