Valtimet, a Vallourec group company specialising in stainless steel and titanium welded tubing for the power generation market, has acquired the assets of International Tubular Products (ITP) a company located in Claremore, Oklahoma, USA. Valtimet is a joint venture with Timet and Sumitomo Metals, in which Vallourec has a majority stake. ITP is an American specialist for stainless steel condenser tubing.
