TIG Hot Wire process on tour

In order to introduce the benefits of the TIG Hot Wire process to a wider public, POLYSOUDE will tour the world, demonstrating these new applications to welding specialists. Demonstrations will take place in the United Kingdom, France, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the USA and Japan. Visitors can expect presentations on the advantages of the TIG Hot Wire process compared to the TIG Cold Wire process, a demonstration of dedicated equipment with Polycar 60 PLC carriage type welding head, dual video and monitoring system and live welding demonstrations: carbon steel 168 x 12.5 mm in 5G   position with open angle J and V, and stainless steel 355 x 90 mm in 2G position Narrow Gap. The TIG Hot Wire Process offers an increase in productivity without any loss in quality. When compared to TIG Cold Wire, there is also a significant increase in deposition rate; Cold Wire has an average of 0.4 kg/h while Hot Wire has an average of 1.2 kg/h.
