Xodus secures TCO vibration contracts

Xodus Group has bagged two contracts for acoustic induced vibration fatigue assessments of its Tengiz complex from TengizChevrOil (TCO) in Kazakhstan. The first contract will have Xodus delivering screen assessments for the relief systems on a new high pressure steam plant, and will eventually expand to include detailed finite element analyses of fittings identified to be at risk of fatigue failure. The second contract is larger and will follow on from similar previous work on the blowdown systems for the Tengiz plant facilities.

Xodus receives BINDT endorsement

International energy consultancy Xodus Group is now one of a limited number of businesses worldwide to be recognised by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in the field of condition monitoring.

Xodus, Saipem, Chiyoda form new subsea company

International energy consultancy Xodus Group launched a global subsea engineering company in partnership with oil and gas contractor Saipem and mid and downstream oil and gas giant Chiyoda Corporation.The new organisation plans to challenge the largest tier-one subsea engineering companies for a share of the global market.

Xodus to provide vibration engineering to Qatargas

International energy consultancy Xodus Group has been awarded a contract with Qatargas to provide vibration-engineering services at onshore and offshore facilities.
 
Working in partnership with Chiyoda Almana Engineering, Xodus will look to develop a long‐term piping integrity management programme to assess, reduce or eliminate vibration in all of the Qatargas facilities, both onshore and offshore.

Multiphase, flow-induced vibration JIP set up

newsitemInternational energy consultancy Xodus Group and Dutch innovation company TNO will co-ordinate a Joint Industry Programme (JIP) with key industry players BP, Shell, Statoil, Total, Lundin, FMC Technologies and Aker Solutions, to carry out pioneering research into the role of multiphase, flow-induced vibration in the integrity of offshore piping systems.

Xodus and Meygen team up tidal energy project
