Xodus wins framework agreement

Xodus Group has recently been awarded a framework agreement for the provision of design and engineering technical services to the Grain LNG terminal, situated on the Isle of Grain, Kent. The three year contract will involve a range of engineering input from feasibility and conceptual capabilities to front-end engineering and design (FEED) and detailed engineering to enhance and expand Grain LNG’s services. Xodus has already successfully completed a number of projects for Grain LNG prior to the framework agreement.

“There is no doubt that LNG has proven to be a viable option in the overall energy mix and this award is a step forward in expanding our core skills in this arena,â€? said Alistair Porter, Operations Director with Xodus. “Our integrated engineering team together with expertise from Chiyoda Corporation, Xodus’ majority shareholder, provides considerable LNG experience. Trust in our capabilities has led to this significant contract award. Our prowess comes into play as an integrated solution provider and we are involved in a number of successful process and facilities, safety and vibration/assurance projects. We believe our agility, front-end expertise and extensive knowledge of the LNG supply chain sets us apart from our competitors.â€?
