Xodus receives BINDT endorsement

International energy consultancy Xodus Group is now one of a limited number of businesses worldwide to be recognised by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in the field of condition monitoring. BINDT is a UKAS accredited independent certifying body, complying with the criteria of European standard ISO/IEC 17024.

The approval is widely accepted as testimony to the quality of the overall system of training and its conformity with relevant international standards such as ISO18436 and ISO9001. Xodus now has authorised training centres in the UK and Middle East and has also been approved as a BINDT examination centre. The vibration analysis courses provided by Xodus are aligned with ISO18436 and are accredited by BINDT to their PCN scheme CM/Gen, Appendix D, Categories 1 and 2.

They are designed to meet the stringent requirements for the structured training of vibration condition monitoring practitioners and to provide suitable preparation for the corresponding PCN certification examinations. Such certification is extremely important across a range of industries, including the oil and gas sector, as it has become a requirement for many employers to ensure that the vibration analyst has the proven necessary skills to perform the often demanding task of vibration analysis.
