Pursall to retire from Electralloy

Peter Pursall will retire from Electralloy effective 30 April 2011. Upon his retirement, Electralloy will begin a strategic restructuring of their sales and customer service efforts in Eastern Canada. The restructuring will address growing markets in Eastern Canada for Aerospace, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Forging, Foundry and Steel Service Center applications. Electralloy’s Eastern Canadian customers will be serviced by Kathy Shumsky, Manager of Forged Products

US Steel inks deal with Lambda

US Steel Corporation’s tubular products subsidiary, US Steel Tubular Products Inc, has entered into an agreement with Surface Enhancement Technologies, part of Lambda Technologies Group, to improve the quality of its tubular steel products.
