Spanish manufacturing company, Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy has announced that it will supply EDP Renewables (EDPR) with wind turbines for its 100 MW Amazon Wind Farm U.S. Central.
Gamesa has secured type certification for its G114-2.5 MW turbine from DEWI-OCC, the accredited independent certification body of the UL/DEWI group.
Gamesa, a global technology leader in wind energy, achieved a new product strategy milestone by having its G97-2.0MW turbine, equipped with an infused glass fibre blade, obtain the first class A type certificate issued by independent certification body DNV GL under its GL2010 guideline.
The Spanish wind power manufacturer Gamesa will be supplying the 18 wind turbines to Vattenfall's largest onshore wind farm in Sweden, the Höge Väg wind farm in Kristianstad in Scania province.
