Stainless castings for auto exhaust systems

Cadic Corporation, Yokohama, Japan, has begun production of thin-wall stainless steel castings at their new facility located in Japan using the Convert Mold Process. Stainless steel automotive exhaust component castings with section sizes of 1.2 – 2.0mm are produced in high production volumes to satisfy the automotive industry’s need for steel products. The Convert Mold Process allows production of automotive stainless steel exhaust components such as exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, mani-turbos and other cast thin-wall steel automotive components.
