Snohvit contract approved

Licensees in Statoil’s Snohvit development have unanimously approved the recommendation to give Dragados Offshore the job of building the process facilities. Worth NOK 1.45 billion, this contract calls for the Spanish yard to build the barge-mounted gas liquefaction plant for the Barents Sea project. The Snohvit field is due to come on stream in 2006.
