Statoil awards Johan Castberg contract

Statoil has awarded Kværner the contract for the Johan Castberg topsides. The contract includes the construction and installation of the topside structure for the floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) to be located on the Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea.

Statoil awards subsea contracts

Statoil has, on behalf of the license partners, awarded EPC contracts for the delivery of subsea production systems and services for the Troll Phase 3 project in the North Sea and the Askeladd project in the Barents Sea, respectively, to Aker Solutions.
