The Casting Technology division of S+C Group has received an order to supply castings for a desalinisation plant. S+C will supply castings in rough-machined execution with a total weight of 15 tons by the end of 2001. — Forging Technology and Casting Technology S+C have also won a joint order for levelling rollers from the Stahlwerk Thüringen GmbH in Unterwellenborn for the modernisation of their tandem mill for the production of steel beams. These levelling rollers formerly had been cast in the S+C tool steel material Märker G 2382 before being taken over by the S+C Forging Technology Division for machining and hardening.
