As Southern Africa Stainless Steel Association (Sassda) commemorates its 60th Anniversary in 2024, it proudly announces the return of the Sassda & Columbus Stainless Steel Awards, supported by Columbus Stainless as the title sponsor, along with category sponsors EuroSteel, Macsteel, and NDE. Themed ‘Sustainability: A Legacy of Brilliance’, the awards will celebrate the enduring strength and durability of stainless steel, while acknowledging the resilience of the local stainless steel industry amidst present challenges.
The award categories encompass Sustainability, Duplex Stainless Steel, Ferritic Stainless Steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel, Export Achievement, Business Excellence, Lifetime Achievement, and Overall Winner.
Regarding eligibility, the awards welcome entries from individuals and companies, both locally and internationally, engaged in the design, production, conversion, distribution, or specification of stainless steel.
