Re-organisation of Technip-Coflexip

Following the acquisition by Technip of 98.3% of Coflexip’s shares, Technip has changed its name and has now become, as of 11 October, Technip-Coflexip, the parent company of the Technip-Coflexip group. A Shareholder’s General Meeting, convened for 13 December 2001, should make the decision to amend the bylaws of the company and make it into a company with Management Board and Supervisory Board. The management board should be made up of five members chaired by Daniel Valot. The Supervisory Board should be made up of 12 members and be chaired by Pierre Marie Valentin. Without waiting for the Shareholder’s General Meeting of December 13, 2001, Technip-Coflexip is already setting up the overall organisation of the new group. To this end, the group management of Technip has been expanded and has instituted an executive committee made up, in addition to its own members, of the other main operational or corporate managers of the group.
On the operational level, Technip’s Offshore teams are now part of the Offshore Branch, managed by Thomas Ehret, formerly Chief Operating Officer of Coflexip. The Onshore and Downstream Branch, managed by Daniel Valot, covers all the onshore oil activities of the group. Lastly, the Industries Branch, managed by Jean-Noël Meary, gathers the activities developed by the group in the non-oil sectors.
