PFA-lined ball valve for highest purity use

Corrosion Resistant Products (CRP) has introduced a new range of PFA-lined, stainless steel-bodied ball valves with a blow out-proof stem construction designed to be effective even in the unlikely event of the top works being dismantled in service. Environmental cleanliness is paramount in pharmaceutical and semiconductor clean rooms, where atmospheric purity is as important as process hygiene. CRP’s new valves are designed for process industry applications such as these – and for other highly corrosive environments. Reliability and safety are also key issues in process plant that is subject to frequent solvent and chemical cleaning regimes. PTFE reverse chevron packing rings in a deep stuffing box provide a dynamic seal, giving long-term protection against fugitive emissions. The range features stainless steel, investment cast valve bodies. These are lined with a thick coating of PFA, which is mechanically locked in place by T-slots and locking grooves, giving unsurpassed performance, under full vacuum conditions.
It also makes the valves eminently suitable for a range of process conditions from -290C up to 2000C, and pressures up to 19.6 bar.
