The EPMA has launched of its annual event, the EPMA “Innovations in Powder Metallurgy” Awards for 2004, which this year is being sponsored by the international magazine, Metal Powder Report. There will be four main categories: components, materials, production technology and the International Powder Metallurgy Award (from all categories) – for companies operating outside Europe. The awards will be presented at PM2004 World Congress & Exhibition, to be held in Vienna, Austria, from 17–21 October. Entry to the competition is free and is open to all EPMA members. The closing date for submission of entries is 31 May 2004.
