Arc Machines has introduced its Model 79 Series to provide economy, easy of use and sturdiness. All Model 79 weld heads operate using the GTAW (TIG) process and accommodate a range of pipe sizes from 0.75â? O.D. to 6.625â? O.D. and wall thicknesses up to 0.75â?. The series is compatible with a variety of joint designs such as âJâ prep and square butt, and will weld materials ranging from stainless or carbon steels to exotic alloys such as Hastelloy, Inconel and Monel, as well as all other TIG weldable materials.
