Axxair has launched its latest model of orbital cutting machine. It is the biggest ever build machine of this type. It has a capacity in diameter of 500 mm up to 785 mm. This machine will cut stainless steel pipes up to 9 mm thick for the shipbuilding industry. It has been delivered to
Korea in July. Axxair orbital tube cutting machines now cover a range from 5 to 785 in various models. Those machines are designed to offer a high-quality cut without deforming thin wall tubes. They are suited to the stainless steel tubing industry but also for special material such as titanium (aerospace, shipbuilding) or duplex (chemical industry). Axxair has already demands to go as high as 1100 mm.
