Open and closed case

The closed end blind rivet nut from Torque Control completes the metallic seal on enclosures of metal or screened plastics when totally surrounding EMI screen is needed, preventing emissions through fixing holes even when the screw is not in place. The stainless steel device also comes in low profile head for a flush finish. Creating a thread in thin metal can be a nightmare, but where regular reuse is important the blind rivet nut can provide an economic solution. When tightened the rivet nut body is designed to undergo controlled deformation, which grips the inside of the mounting surface providing a permanent, reusable thread. Types can be also selected which can grip two sheets of material, and not necessarily the same material. Torque Control with an extended range of blind rivet nuts, including types sensitive to soft materials and plastics also provide insertion tools, and tools to cut hexagonal holes for the hexagonal shank ultimate in anti-spin device. A closed-end type will reduce EMI, halt entry of foreign materials, and provide that high quality deep reusable thread.
