Miller Electric Mfg. Co has added the Axcess® E with Insight(TM) MIG welding system to its line of products. The system features integrated data monitoring capability within the power source. It checks each weld according to preset parameter guidelines, allowing the user to detect under weld, over weld or missed weld. Configurable software lets the user know whether or not the weld has met specified expectations for voltage, gas flow, voltage, duration or wire feed speed. Insight Reporter(TM) supplies useful data regarding quality, cost and productivity, increasing process improvement. Axcess E with Insight uses Ethernet technology and the factory network system to interface with each welding system, transferring data where necessary. Interfacing permits access to any machine in the fleet from anywhere in the world. This allows welding professionals to monitor command values and actual welding results in addition to performing diagnostic functions and making necessary changes to the system setup. Insight Centerpoint(TM) is a graphical user interface providing users with easy access to welding data and monitoring settings. The system offers a powerful operator HMI that can take users through the production of a weldment in a step-by-step fashion. Insight Reporter(TM) is an optional management reporting feature that imports data from the networked fleet of Axcess E units to a SQL database for analysis. This PC application offers a wealth of preconfigured reports focused on operating, quality and productivity data. These reports provide critical information for a manufacturing facility in terms of improving operational efficiency and measuring performance trends.
