Lincoln offers new robotic welding cell

The Lincoln Electric Co. has introduced its latest pre-engineered robotic welding cell, the System 50. This is a newly designed dual head and tailstock robotic welding cell configuration that extends the family of pre-engineered cell concepts offered by the Lincoln Electric Automation Division. The system is a self-contained unitised work cell, featuring dual FANUC Alpha 6 servo driven headstocks, an ARC Mate 100i robot and a choice of Lincoln power sources or even plasma cutting machines.The cell’s compact footprint (164â€? x 90â€?) provides ample room to support a generous work envelop built around dual 60â€? span, 23â€? swing radius head/tailstock postioners. The completed system includes metal side panels for safety, safety light fencing at both load areas, pneumatic operator arc shield screens and dual operator control panels.
