Technip makes offers for Coflexip and Isis

Technip, IFP and Isis have been in discussions for several weeks regarding a possible combination between Technip, Coflexip and Isis. In light of this project being made public in press articles late last week, Technip, IFP and Isis have been forced to accelerate the timing of the proposed combination and have reached agreement on its implementation. Within this timeframe, Technip has stated it has been obliged to make an unsolicited, though friendly offer for Coflexip. Technip has said the offer is nevertheless friendly as it builds on the strategic alliance that has bound the two companies for over a year.
