Lathe facilitates precision cylindrical welding

Orbimatic has released the Varioturn RS 80-1R precision welding lathe. These lathes are designed specifically for welding small thin wall circular components. The Varioturn has both torch carriage and headstock on linear carriages and are easily adjustable and can be locked into position with a pneumatic lock system. A 300mm face plate as standard for attachment of tooling of a suitable chuck. The torch carriage incorporates a pneumatic torch retract mechanism with a range of 150mm.
