Fast track delivery for CRA-clad valves

L&N have announced that its new, fully automated pulse TIG cladding station is now up and running in Aberdeen, UK. With current market conditions dictating valve manufacturer’s lead times in excess of 30 weeks the availability of valves manufactured from exotic materials is a headache for many customers. The new facility is designed to offer fast track delivery for valves clad with corrosion-resistant alloys. Developed in conjunction with PEC, the new machine enables the company to carry out corrosion-resistant welding and base material
Build-up on all types of valves. The company has a library of weld procedures qualified to ASME 1X, API 6A,BS EN 288 Part 3 and NACE MR 01 75 in a variety of materials including carbon steel, high yield steel, Inconel 625, 300 series stainless steel and carbon steel consumables.
