FKAB Marine Design proudly presents the new building project of 4+4 X 6 600 DWT DF stainless steel chemical tankers, ordered by John T. Essberger, at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co Ltd. in China.
This state-of-the-art FKAB design is based on Essberger’s high-quality requirements, with a clear focus on low environmental impact, high flexibility, and very low fuel consumption, using the FKAB’s proven modern lines with F-Bow and LNG as the primary fuel.
The propulsion system is a single screw DF main engine, designed with full battery/UPS power, preventing from blackouts.
FKAB marine design will also be involved in Basic and Detail Design, through both FKAB Sweden and FKAB China offices.
