Arcos Industries LLC offers two stainless steel electrodes that are specifically designed to provide superior crack resistance when welding dissimilar steels. The bare wire and covered Arcos 307 electrodes are primarily suitable for moderate strength welds between dissimilar steels including austenitic manganese steel and carbon steel. The electrodes are well suited for welding automotive exhaust systems as well as armor plate. Arcos 307 bare wire electrodes are available in diameters from .035″- 3/16″ and the covered wires are available from 3/32″- 3/16″.
