New business unit manager for Ferrochrome

Mr Antti Pihko has been appointed new manager for AvestaPolarit’s Ferrochrome business unit, as Senior Vice President – Ferrochrome, with effect from 1 January 2003. He will succeed Mr Harri Natunen, who as of the same date has been appointed Senior Vice President in charge of Outokumpu’s Zinc business unit within the Metallurgy business area. Antti Pihko, who is currently general manager for Outokumpu Poricopper, Tube Products, has been employed by Outokumpu since 1989. His previous experience includes positions as mine
superintendent at Tara Mines in Ireland and mine engineer at Outokumpu Finnmines in Enonkoski. As manager of Ferrochrome, Antti Pihko will be stationed in Tornio and
will report to Mr Antti Närhi, President – Special Products.
