NMVOC recovery plants from Kvaerner

Kvaerner, the Anglo-Norwegian engineering and construction Group, has received a letter of intent from Statoil and Navion for the supply of three non-methane volatice organic compounds (NMVOC) recovery plants, worth a combined total in excess of USD 17 million. The plants will be installed on crude oil shuttle tankers operating in the North Sea. In addition to the two plants for Statoil, the company has also placed an option on five further plants. For future plants, Kvaerner has formed a co-operation with Hitec Vision to jointly execute such projects, which includes design, engineering, fabrication and commissioning, and servicing of the plants.
