YIEH HSING ENTERPRISE announces expansion plan

YIEH HSING ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. has announced an expansion plan for its Pingnan Acid Pickling Plant. The expansion involves an investment of approximately TWD 1.05bn, with the funds sourced from the company’s own resources and bank borrowings.

The projected start date for the investment is 2025. The specific purpose of this expansion is to broaden the sales market for stainless steel wire rods, reduce processing costs, and align with energy-saving and carbon reduction policies. As part of this expansion, the company has purchased acid pickling lines and inspection & packaging line equipment.

The total transaction amount for these acquisitions is approximately TWD 313,600,000, with the acid pickling line equipment priced at USD 7,400,000 and the inspection and packaging line equipment at USD 2,400,000. The transaction was decided based on a price comparison with market prices and was approved by the Board of Directors during the first week of November 2024. The purpose of this acquisition is to optimize the stainless steel wire rod consistent operating system.
