Xuyi Titan and Materials Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary titanium tubes mill of Tool Peaks, has completed delivery of 60,000 pieces of titanium Grade 12 seamless tubes, which were 16m in length. Titanium molybdenum nickel alloy tubes were used to satisfy strict anti-corrosion requirements.
In December 2012, Tool Peaks won an order of 430tns of titanium seamless tubes applied for potash. Xuyi Titan undertook the production throughout 2013.
“Winning the order means wining a lead in 2013 since the market competition will intensify as time goes on. In order to maintain a good position, we put more effort in exploring market and reducing production costs, but not at the cost of quality. We diversified our production structure to a higher level – more products that fall into this category such as pipe fittings and machined parts,” says Kensu, President of Tool Peaks and Xuyi Titan.
