Winn butterfly valves

The Winn Hi-Seal range of butterfly valves meets ASNI/DIN/JIS standards for fully rated applications in the marine, water, oil, gas and process industries. Capable of handling extreme service pressures and temperatures, the quarter-turn valves come in three design options; soft seats for general purpose duties, secondary metal seats for firesafe applications, and primary metal seats for high temperature and abrasive service. Available as wafer, lugged and double flanged models, the valves feature a double offset disc which ensures bubble-tight shut off in both directions while minimising wear. Capable of accommodating temperatures as high as 450°C and pressures up to 54bar, the valves incorporate a single piece shaft for rigid and stable operation, helping to ensure long term reliability. A comprehensive range of materials for the body, shaft and disc includes carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium bronze, and special materials such as Duplex and Monel. A further advantage lies in the design characteristics which provide for ease of maintenance in service. The gland packing can be quickly adjusted using easy access bolts while the seat can be replaced quickly and easily by removing the retaining ring. The valves can be integrated with Keystone pneumatic and electric actuators and accessories, including smart positioners, position monitors and solenoid valves. FieldBus Network protocols can also be supplied. Winn products are available from Tyco Valves and Controls.
