Welding stainless steel handbook

The first edition of the Outokumpu Welding Handbook has been published. The Group’s ambition is that the handbook will be a useful tool for welders, engineers, metallurgists, designers and other specialists when looking for information regarding welding of stainless steel. Welding is the most important process for joining stainless steel. Through this handbook, Outokumpu wants to contribute to existing knowledge and offer hands-on advice on welding methods and processes together with design in which stainless steel is the base. The book also describes appropriate filler material and post-weld treatments, as well as provides information about the impact of welding on the overall properties of the construction. The Outokumpu Welding Handbook can be obtained from local Outokumpu Sales Offices.
