Since its inception in 1979, Voß Edelstahlhandel GmbH & Co. KG has expanded to nine subsidiaries and exports to more than 20 countries.
The basic principles of the company have not been changed since its establishment: an exclusive dedication to trade partners, supplying large range of stainless steel and aluminium products as well as a reliable service through good and bad times. Managing directors of Voss, Mr. Markus Fischer and Mr. Thorsten Studemund stated “Our commitment will not be tarnished by times of declining prices and demands. This is and will always be the philosophy of the Voss team!”

In the past, Voss has only offered bars exclusively. Currently, it sells approximately 35,000tns of stainless steel and aluminium long products, and offers tubes, profiles, laser welded profiles and rounds in 15 different grades which are always available in stock and ready for delivery.
A few years ago, the product assortment was extended to aluminium products called special sections profiles. Then in 2013, Voss has introduced another product groups: copper and brass.
Presently, Voss also offers Duplex (1.4462) round bars, cold formed U-sections and additionally a comprehensive selection of new aluminium products in type 6082 along with expansion of the sizes in 6060 and 2007. Product assortments can be ordered together as a package which enables time- and transport-costs saving.
Its 3rd automatic warehousing system was built in 2011. Voss has implemented a new warehouse managing system, which optimises material flow using barcodes and a central database. This new system has been installed at all branches and provides a better service towards the customers based on a real-time availability of all stocks for the whole group in Europe.
