VDM Metals’ Service Center expands its product range

VDM Metals has expanded the materials portfolio of its Service Centre.

To be able to offer its customers in the industrial apparatus and mechanical engineering sectors an even more comprehensive service, the company has added stainless steel alloys typical for these industries to its portfolio with immediate effect. For this purpose, VDM Metals uses the proven stainless steel grades of its parent company, the Acerinox Group based in Madrid, Spain.

Customers in the areas of apparatus and mechanical engineering for the chemical process industry and petrochemical and oil and gas industries, in particular, are to benefit from this enhanced range of materials from now on.

The Service Centre, based in Werdohl, Germany, is of course available to its customers to handle prefabrications and cut-to-size parts according to customer drawings. The stainless steel grades are offered as sheets in various thicknesses and dimensions. These grades are consistently characterized by their good corrosion resistance, high strength, and very good mechanical properties.
