A new, high-capacity vacuum inlet and exhaust trap for manufacturers in the optoelectronics and semiconductor industries has been introduced by MV Products of North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA. The MV Multi-Trap Model IC features water-cooled internal coils that provide over 1300cm of surface area, along with two customisable filtration stages to condense and collect heavy particulates. Developed for LED, LCD, and FPD production processes which generate large amounts of condensables, this high-capacity vacuum inlet trap provides over 200% more cooling surface and 25% more capacity than conventional traps. With more than 8000cm of space to accumulate solids and keep process production lines operating longer, the MV Multi-Trap Model IC is made from all stainless steel and is offered with ISO-80 or ISO-100 flanges. The two filtration stages use five 114 mm replaceable elements: typically stainless steel gauze and micron-rated polypropylene.
