Vacuum inlet trap for condensables and solids

MV Products of North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA has introduced a new high-capacity vacuum inlet and exhaust trap made of stainless steel gauze or micron-rated polypropylene. The product is designed for manufacturers of LEDs, LCDs, FPDs, and wafers in the optoelectronics and semiconductor industries. The MV Multi-Trap Model IC features water-cooled internal coils that provide over 1300 cm3 of surface area, along with two customisable filtration stages to condense and collect heavy particulates. Developed for production processes which generate large amounts of condensables, this high-capacity vacuum inlet and exhaust trap has more than 8000 cm3 of space to accumulate solids and keep production lines operating longer. Providing over 200% more cooling surface and 25% more capacity than conventional traps, the MV Multi-Trap(R) Model IC is constructed from all stainless steel and is offered with ISO-80 or ISO-100 flanges. The two filtration stages use five 114 mm replaceable elements: typically stainless steel gauze and micron-rated polypropylene.
