Type 3755 Booster

Due to the precisely manufactured bypass restriction of Samson’s new Type 3755 Booster, the Booster can be adjusted exactly and lead-sealed in this setup. As the booster is completely pressure-balanced, it provides a stable output even under changing pressure conditions. The signal pressure is transmitted with a defined hysteresis, without loss and emitting little noise. The booster is designed such that the functional parts come into contact with instrument air only. Its exhaust air port can be protected against weather or environmental influence. Alternatively, the exhaust air can be routed through a pipeline. In combination with a positioner, the booster allows control valves with large pneumatic actuators to be controlled quickly and exactly even with high flow rates or pressure drops. Further booster versions with different dynamic properties are currently being developed. The Type 3755 Booster will be presented for the first time at the forthcoming Achema trade fair in May 2009.
