Outokumpu has appointed Kari Tuutti as the new senior VP Communications & Investor Relations effective 31 October 2011. He will report to CEO, Mika Seitovirta and will be based in Espoo, Finland. In his new position, Tuutti will be responsible for Outokumpu’s global external and internal communications and investor relations activities. Päivi Lindqvist, the current SVP Communications and Investor Relations, will begin her maternity leave on 24 October 2011; her future role in Outokumpu will be determined later. A Finnish citizen, Tuutti holds a Master of Economics degree from Helsinki School of Economics. Over the past 12 years, he has maintained several senior communications, investor relations and marketing positions at Nokia Group.
