Aker Solutions has been awarded a USD 60 million contract by Statoil to deliver six subsea trees and a tools package for the operator’s Troll field off Norway. The workscope includes six subsea trees, with a possible option for nine additional trees, including control systems for the oil-producing part of the giant gas field. Equipment deliveries will be made from 2012 to 2015.
