TIP TIG offers new weld process

TIP TIG’s weld process, developed in Austria, offers several weld quality, productivity, and cost benefits. The process offers less weld rework when compared to traditional TIG – SAW – FCAW and Pulsed MIG used on code quality welds, providing consistent manual and automated weld quality. Pipe and fabrication weld production is increased by 50% to 300% and weld alloy application production is increased hourly, by 200%. TIP TIG offers a 100 to 200% reduction in weld joules input and is suitable for duplex, stainless alloys and titanium components. Weld procedures are also simplified and reduced.
