TECHNIP wins Iran contract

TECHNIP has been awarded through the joint venture NPCC/NAFT SAZEH QESHM an engineering and procurement contract for the development of the Soroosh and Nowrooz oilfields managed by Shell Exploration BV in Iranian waters. Soroosh is located in the Persian Gulf, approximately 80km SW of Kharg Island. Nowrooz is situated in the NW of the Persian Gulf, 50km to the north of Soroosh. Both fields are at water depths ranging from 30–40m. TECHNIP will carry out the design, engineering and procurement (with NPCC) for permanent production facilities including three production platforms, two wellhead platforms, pipelines and cables.
