Techint Technologies has successfully commissioned a 350,000tpy stainless steel anneal and pickle line for ThyssenKrupp’s Tkast Works, Terni, Italy. Techint Technologies is also currently revamping a 700,000tpy pickle line for Hellenic Steel, Thessaloniki, Greece, which is a part of the Riva Group. The turnkey contract includes engineering, supply, erection and supervision of the new process section, which will use shallow tank technology. The line is scheduled for start-up in May 2003.
