Heat tint is not merely an aesthetic question: the oxides, which are visible as discolorations, do not have the protective and self-repairing properties that the original passive layer has.

EVRAZ supplies 100m rails for Moscow metro

EVRAZ delivered the first batch of 100m head-hardened R65 rail for the Moscow metro. Produced by EVRAZ ZSMK, the rails have been recently installed in the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line between the Kievskaya and Slavyanskiy Bul’var stations.

Polysoude workshop at World Nuclear Exhibition

1st chemical tanker with DSS & stainless clad steel

Usuki Shipyard Co. delivered the first chemical tanker in the world to use a combination of duplex stainless steel (DSS) and stainless clad steel in the construction of its cargo tanks to Oita-based Hiro Naviera on 15 November 2014.
