US Steel makes key executive appointments
United States Steel Corporation Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer David B. Burritt has announced two executive appointments.
New business head at Outokumpu
Outokumpu announced the appointment of Michael Williams as the president and head of Business Area Coil Americas and member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team as of 1 July 2015. Williams has over two decades of experience in the metals industry, including sixteen years at US Steel where he held a number of senior leadership positions, as well as the position of the CEO in Ormet Corporation, an aluminium company.
US Steel executive management sees changes
United States Steel Corporation announced a series of executive management changes including naming John J. Quaid, vice president – Iron Ore and Larry T. Brockway as senior vice president, chief risk officer and treasurer.
US Steel announces new president
Thomas J. Usher, chairman of United States Steel Corp., has announced the election of John P. Surma Jr to the position of President of US Steel, with effective from 1 March.
